My Top 3 Vegan Frozen Foods for Easy Treats

It's Friday night, you're craving for some fast food, but you don't want to waste money on a takeout. What do you do? I pick out a few staple treats for the month—like a couple of burgers, a lasagna, nuggets, and a pizza. Basically, any premium frozen product from vegan brands does the trick. Here are special treats I love to buy, but wouldn't stock up on for the whole month.

1. Frozen burgers

For those days when I'm craving a fast-food-style burger without actually ordering out, I always keep a bag of frozen fries in the freezer. I just cook both and load the burger up on a bun with ketchup, mayo, and mustard.

2. Frozen lasagna

It’s Friday night and you want a special dinner, but it’s the end of the month, rent is due, your dining allowance is spent—or you're just not in the mood for the usual takeout. Here’s how I elevate a basic frozen lasagna: while it bakes, I thaw and sauté some veggies in a skillet. If you don't feel like dirtying a pan, just wait until the lasagna is done and steam the veggies in the microwave. Or toss them in the air fryer—pick your battles.

3. Veggie nuggets

The ultimate movie night snack—our own plant-based take on a bucket of fried chicken. I love plant-based nuggets purely for that crispy, fried texture. Who says vegetarians have to eat clean 24/7? Pair them with some fries, and you're good to go.
